Nothing is better for football Sundays!
1# ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 C. celery, diced
1-16oz. can tomatoes
1-16oz. can chili beans
3/4 C. tomato juice
1-4oz. can green chilies
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 T. paprika
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Few drops Tabasco
1 C. water
In large saucepan, brown burger, onion, celery, and garlic. Drain.
Stir in remaining ingredients- cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Serve with sour cream, green onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and saltines.
(Crock pot method: use 3 1/2 qt. size or smaller, cook on low 8-10 hours. Use only 1/2 C. water.)
