Mint Chocolate Brownies

From Great-Auntie R.

Prepare family-size (9 x 13) pan of brownies according to package.

Beat together:
1 stick butter, softened
2 C. powdered sugar
3 T. creme de menthe ice cream syrup

Spread over cooled brownies.

Icing:
Melt together 1 C. chocolate chips and 6 T. butter.
Let cool slightly; spread over mint layer.

Serve chilled.
