Cedric Adams Hotdish

The note on my recipe from her states, "This is mine and yours favorite," and she is right.

1# hamburger
1 onion, diced
1 medium head of green cabbage
1/2 C. uncooked white rice
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can of water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. white vinegar
Salt & pepper, to taste

Brown hamburger with onion, add uncooked rice.
Shred cabbage into coarse pieces. Place in greased casserole dish.
Add hamburger mixture on top.
Mix soup, water, sugar, and vinegar and pour over beef layer.
Cover with lid or foil.
Bake @ 350* for 1 hour.

Serve with buttered white bread.
